How to change a booking reference

A booking reference can be used as an identifier for a booking that has been made.

While various channels, such as Viator and Get Your Guide, provide their own references for bookings, ActivityBridge creates and assignes a Booking ID to each booking. This Booking ID can be used as the booking reference.

This tutorial will guide you on how to personalise a booking reference on ActivityBridge.

Go to 'Bookings'

Click on the 'Bookings' tab located at the top of the screen.

Search for the booking

  1. Use the search criteria fields to narrow down the search results when looking for the respective booking.
    Once you have added the search criteria, chick 'Search'.
  2. Alternatively, ignore the search criteria and simply click 'Search' to display a list of all the bookings on ActivityBridge.

As an example, we'll select Booking ID 707054 imaged below.

  1. Select the booking from the search results in the Booking List by clicking on the booking.
    The Booking Details will open.

Note the 'Reference:'.
Currently, the example reference is '12345'.

Change the Booking Reference

Select 'Change Booking Reference' from the available options to the right of the Booking Details.  
A tying field will appear just below.

  1. Type in the booking reference you've chosen.
  2. Click on the 'tick' (check mark) button.

Note that the information in the 'Reference' field has now changed from '12345' to 'Maxwell Party'.
