You can close out or block availability for activities by adding a close-out for a particular period of time. A close-out prevents guests from booking activities over the period.
Adding the close-out
Click on 'Settings'.
- Click on 'Add / Edit Rate Close-out'.
- Click on 'Add'.
- Click to open the drop-down menu and select either:
- 'All' to apply the close-out to all your activities, or the
- individual activity to apply the close-out to that specific activity
- Click on the Rate Option drop-down menu and select the Rate Option you want to close out.
- Use the date widget to select the Start Date and End Date.
- Click to select the Valid Days.
- Add a reason for the close-out.
Choose how you want this close-out to apply.
- Always Applies
The close-out is applied in all situations from the time you save the close-out. - Only Applies More Than.
The close-out will apply until a certain number of days/months before the activity.- For example:
your activity is taking place on 10/2/23.
You add and save a close-out on 24/1/23 and set Only Applies More Than to 4. - You will be open and bookable for that activity only from 6/2/23.
- For example:
- Only Applies Less Than.
The close-out will apply after a certain number of days/months before the activity.- For example, your activity is taking place on 10/2/23.
- You add and save a close-out and set Only Applies Less Than to 4.
- You will be open and bookable from now until 6/2/23. You will not be able to book the activity after that.
Choose the Type of close-out:
- Choose Close for Day if you want the activity to be unavailable for the full day.
- Click on 'Save'.
- Choose 'Close for Time Slot' if you want the activity to be unavailable only for a particular period within the day.
- Update the relevant time slot. Use the plus icon to add more than one time slot if you need to.
- Click on 'Save'.
